Bruce R. Freeman, DVM
Dr. Freeman is a native Kansan and graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University in 1980. In that same summer, he married Lisa. They have three children; Don, Carolyn and Claire. Their family continues to grow as the kids marry and have kids of their own. In addition, Jake the cat who thinks he is a dog, Dozer and Stella, yellow Labradors, are very important family members. Dr. Freeman founded Overland Park Veterinary Center in 1985. Leisure time is filled with golf and BBQ with friends as well as fun and travel with family. Dr. Freeman is an active member of Lenexa United Methodist Church and the K-State Alumni Association as well as multiple veterinary associations.
Tawny deKeijzer, DVM
Dr. Tawny is a 2001 graduate from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University. She lives with her beautiful and talented daughter Morena. Dr. Tawny has two dogs, Zwartje (pronounced Swatcha) who is retiring from her job as front door greeter at the clinic, and Maisel who is currently learning agility and showmanship in 4-H alongside Morena. She also has two cat, Pluis who loves belly rubs, and Lil Will the stinker who can make everyone laugh. In her free time you'll find her doing one of her many hobbies including crafting, backyard chickens, and beekeeping.

Thomas McKee, DVM
Dr. McKee graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1980. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in Food Animal Medicine. He has been a professor at Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He enjoys hunting, playing bagpipes, and spending time with his wife Kathy and their three children.
John Doyle, DVM
Dr. Doyle graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. His personal interests include surgery and shelter medicine. He lives with his girlfriend, Dr. Kindall Shenefield, who is also a graduate from his class, as well as their six pets (three dogs, two cats, and a hedgehog). In his free time, he enjoys hiking, camping, disc golf, and baking. His family has been bringing his pets to Overland Park Veterinary Center for as long as he can remember, and he is excited to now be a part of the team.
